At Balsam Lutheran Church, we have a simple hope: to grow in Christ's love to share Christ's love. For nearly 150 years, we've been helping spread God's good news here in our hometown and throughout the world, and we pray that God will continue to use our congregation. Whether you've been attending church for years or haven't stepped into a sanctuary in decades, we hope you'll come and join us Sunday if you're looking for a church in our hometown.
During the service, you'll hear our faith expressed in the songs we sing, prayers we say, and our pastor's preaching. Our worship style draws upon our traditions within the Lutheran faith.
As a congregation, we seek to embody the wide, expansive welcome of God. From the beginning, we have been a church that makes people feel at home.
We welcome children and cherish our role as God's extended family for everyone. Children are accepted as they are, giggles and all.
We welcome a wide spectrum of opinions. We may not all be of one mind on some issues, but we find out unity in our service to our neighbors and in the love of Jesus.
